In recent years, the field of medicine has undergone profound transformation. The global pandemic tested our systems and perspectives, but it also underscored the enduring importance of resilience, collaboration, and—above all—wisdom. As we step into a new chapter, ISAMS 2025 aims to embrace this wisdom and channel it into innovation across the medical sciences.

Organized by the Medical Association of Pharmacopuncture Institute (MAPI) and the Korean Pharmacopuncture Institute (KPI), ISAMS has long served as a global platform for sharing groundbreaking research in the field of medicine. We are delighted to resume this meaningful mission in the beautiful city of Busan, where future-facing science meets natural beauty and cultural depth.

Korea continues to make remarkable strides in medical and biomedical sciences. From clinical research and pharmaceutical innovation to digital health and translational medicine, Korean institutions are playing a vital role in shaping the future of global healthcare. ISAMS 2025 provides a valuable opportunity to share these advancements with the international community.

This year’s symposium brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and institutions—including Medical Research Centers (MRCs), Basic Research Labs (BRLs), and more—from across Korean universities and around the world. Together, we will explore current research outcomes and engage in thoughtful dialogue on the future direction of medicine and scientific development across related fields.
